President Trump meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

On Friday, President Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump's Director of Communications, Margo Martin, shared clips of the occasion.

The President greeted Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, and took a photo together in front of Mar-A-Lago, Trump's famed Palm Beach estate. Many have coined Mar-A-Lago the "Winter White House."

During remarks over lunch, President Trump spoke to the press:

"We’ve never been closer to a world war than we are now; it’s because we have incompetent people running our country."

The timing of the meeting could not have been more coincidental, as their discussions follow rioting in Washington, D.C. on Thursday by pro-Palestinian protesters who called for the removal and death of Netanyahu.

Many speculate which topics were discussed between the two world leaders, as the cultural, security, and financial implications of the war between Israel and Gaza has involved the entirety of the globe.

Americans mostly on the conservative right believe that our funding of wars outside our borders needs to decrease, which includes the war between Russia and Ukraine.

It's worth remembering that during the Trump administration, the Abraham Accords were signed, which are "a series of treaties normalizing diplomatic relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.

In the span of five short months, these four Arab states joined Egypt and Jordan in making peace with Israel. The agreements were called “The Abraham Accords” in honor of Abraham - the patriarch of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam."

The results of the meeting between Trump and Netanyahu are yet to be determined.

This is a developing story.
