On Sunday, former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor Shawn Ryan published a highly-anticipated interview with Kash Patel, senior advisor to President Trump, former Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, and the former Principal Deputy to the Acting Director of National Intelligence, where he oversaw the operations of all 17 intelligence community agencies and provided President Donald J. Trump's Daily Briefing.

During the interview, Patel touched on poignant aspects of the agencies' involvment in the two-tier system of justice plaguing the United States and bolstering the lawfare being waged against Trump.

Shawn Ryan made it a point to note that the Deep State is "embedded in politics, mainstream media, intelligence agencies—they are former top leadership of the military that’s now embedded within the military industrial complex companies, I mean it’s—how many people are involved in this?"

Kash: "Thousands."
 

Kash Patel educated Shawn Ryan on the logistics of the Deep State:
 
"[They] use Washington as a revolving door. I don’t see it as a Republican of Democrat thing; I see it as a swamp thing. Who’s running these agencies and departments? Where do they go afterwards and how do they get back in?"

Patel continued, "All of these people have connections, direct lines of employments to the private sector to Washington and back; to the same firms, the same lobbyists, the same contractor or big agency."

"It’s been going on for decades. When Trump hit the golden escalator, these guys got on steroids. They didn’t want him to expose the corruption of the swamp. . . They will stop at no length."

In the first half of the interview, Kash called for the elimination of certain positions in Washington and to permanently suspend the security clearances of the 51 Intel agents who signed the letter stating that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.

Shawn asked, "How would you even begin your dismantle [the Deep State]?"

Kash: "The first Trump administration was the beach head, right? . . . [The American public] realized [we] weren’t lying about impeachment. They literally made up a piece of a phone call to launch a Presidential impeachment and put me in the middle of it by making up a meeting that never occurred. It sounded dirty at the time but when we released the transcripts, everyone realized there was no quid pro quo. Nothing illegal happened here."

He continued, "But the narrative was out there—President Trump was the first President to get impeached in a long time. They had their narrative. They don’t necessarily care about the conclusion portion of their mission. They use the mainstream media to say "Trump is a Russian asset. He’s been impeached." "Kash Patel is under DOJ surveillance for whatever investigation."

Kash added, "I’ve had more mainstream media hits on me than I can count, but they want the title narrative to carry the day. "Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation. They don’t care about the actual truth."

"So once you start stacking these together and you show the American public, "You were lied to. You based your vote at the polls based on information that the government purposely withheld from you so that you would vote a particular way. Once you show enough Americans that, then you have the movement that you need behind the leadership that we have in Donald Trump to take a wrecking ball to the Deep State."

Shawn brought up the Mar-A-Lago classified documents case, wherein the FBI raided the President's Palm Beach estate on the basis of alleged unlawful possession of classified documents.
 
Kash says: "Under the law, it doesn’t matter if Trump had the nuclear codes. The Presidential Records Act… Bill Clinton took recordings of a classified conversation and he put him in his sock drawer!"

Shawn Ryan asked Kash Patel if he believes he’d be best-utilized as President Trump's Attorney General.
 

"I have no idea where that sequence is going to land. It also depends on all the folks who are surrounding the President." Kash adds: "The one thing I’ve learned about these senior leadership positions, being around so many of them, is you don’t have to be the subject matter expert of that institution to run it effectively."

Kash continued, "You almost don’t want to have that leadership there because they’re too tied in to the everyday operations and then what they do is, they micromanage everything."

"You need to have someone who is familiar and has operated with it but also at the same time who has managed a big ship and can understand the most important thing that Trump taught me: "Execute the mission and then get the hell out of the way for the people who signed up to do the job."

In reference to the media wars waged against himself and President Trump, Kash Patel said, "The more that the media is attacking you, the more you are over the target."
